In February 1982, the first Bailey trailer rolled out of a workshop in Aunsby, Lincolnshire. Designed and built by founder Tom Bailey, that first trailer reflected the values that still define us today: innovation, quality craftsmanship and a deep understanding of customer needs. The local farming community quickly took notice, many of those early customers are still with us today.

From those humble beginnings, Bailey has grown into the UK’s leading brand of agricultural trailers. Our journey from a single workshop to a state-of-the-art, 70,000 sq ft facility in Sleaford has been one of vision, relentless improvement and family-led ambition. Still proudly a family business across three generations, we’ve expanded our reach far beyond the fields of Lincolnshire.
Today, our trailers support industries beyond agriculture – including construction, utilities, market gardens and commercial landscaping – and are trusted by professionals across the UK, Scandinavia and as far as New Zealand.
